Our Philosophy
As responsible of the Guiding Light Center, our aims and plans are not like any others. Believing in Allah gives our deeds and actions an enormous effect and influence. Our plans should not rely only on the power we can possess or the number of people we can gather or the money we can collect or a building we can aggrandize but on the righteousness that we uphold. The more we are righteous and have the good manners and the good hearts and the constant repentance, the closer to success we are.
We are successful in leading others and guide them when we are successful in leading and guiding our own selves. We believe that we can make a difference at all levels and in different capacities when our actions are sincere and are according the teachings of Islam.
We believe that all humans are one big family, the only way forward is to respect each other despite differences.
And we constantly pray that Allah Would Accept our deeds and make us righteous.
“… and cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression…”

Our Doors Are Wide Open...
Our doors are wide open to:
- People who positive, optimistic, and hopeful;
- People who choose to work hard rather than talk loud;
- People who want to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others;
- People who have the good word and the sincere smile;
- People who are all about “us” not “me;”
- People who want to make this world a better place for all humans
- people who recite “Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you;”
