Tawheed (Monotheism) in Islam is the basic principal in our vision because it’s the natural and universal answer to the spiritual dimension of the human being in understanding himself in this life and the hereafter. It is also the ceiling of the human logic in understanding the dimensions of life and existence and what is beyond. Realizing tawheed gives the human humbleness so that he can take his life and his succession role in this life seriously to achieve what he was created for and rest assured about the hereafter.
Succession: The principal of succession, simply put, we are here to make the world a better place for everyone. “And, when your Lord said to the angels, Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority,” is not a Quranic mandate that does not have a basis in the human nature but it’s an expression of the human nature and what Allah has given the human being qualities and abilities that made him enjoys awareness and perception more than any other creature in his world.
Everything in this universe was created and subjected for us so that we realize the reason we were created for, to build a better world.
Justice and Moderation: Justice, in all aspects of human behavior, is the foundation of the proper human interaction, morally, physically, socially, politically, and economically. Without justice, and thus moderation, all dimensions of the human existence and its role become empty of its content. “Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded.”
Responsibility: The human being, with his sound instinct, cognitive abilities, and free will, is responsible for all his actions and decisions. “On the Day when Allah will resurrect them all together and inform them of what they did. Allah has kept account of it, while they have forgotten it. And Allah is Witness over all things.”
Shura (Consultation): The role of Shura is foundational for both, the individual and the group; it is not subject to desires and interests of individuals in leadership position but to protect the rights of both the individual and the group. “And those who have responded to their Lord and established prayer and whose affair is (conducted by) consultation among themselves...”
